How I work now
Claude is part of the working day, not an experiment I run occasionally. I work with agents the way I'd work with a team — brief them properly, review what comes back, keep the judgment calls with me. Claude Code takes explorations all the way to working HTML, so an idea can be tested in a browser instead of argued about in a file.
Qualitative analysis that used to take days now happens in hours. I feed raw interview transcripts, support tickets, and usage data through structured prompts — surfacing patterns, contradictions, and opportunity signals that I then validate and design from.
AI lets me explore more surface area earlier — generating layout variations, testing copy directions, and running concept explorations before committing pixels. The design decisions are still mine. The pace is different.
I pull merge requests and read the diff when it matters — faster than describing a spacing bug in Slack, and it means I understand what the real constraint is. The best work I've shipped came from sitting close to the engineers building it. With the ground moving this fast, that conversation matters more, not less: what became possible this quarter wasn't last quarter, and neither side finds that out alone.
About
10+ years at the intersection of UX, product design, and visual systems — across healthcare software, SaaS tools, editorial photography, and fine arts. Currently leading design at Patient21, where I've built a system used by thousands of clinicians and patients across Europe. I don't separate "good design" from "design that works" — they're the same thing, executed well.
Off the clock
Photography, long walks, Greek summers, the slow mornings — the things that keep the work honest. I cook the way I design: good ingredients, careful composition, nothing unnecessary on the plate. Sport keeps the head clear. And Berlin keeps the rest interesting — a city versatile enough to keep handing you new people to meet, places to discover, and things worth doing.
Currently in Berlin. Always happy to talk about product design, healthtech, photography, and fashion — ideally in person, over a coffee.
